Shoe Factory in Agra

DBFootwear's own manufacturing unit in Agra, Uttar Pradesh — in production since 1995, ISO 9001:2015 certified, up to 50,000 pairs per month. Safety, force & uniform and civil footwear, factory-direct.

DBFootwear runs a shoe factory in Agra, Uttar Pradesh — the city that produces a large share of India’s footwear. We have manufactured here since 1995, and we sell as the maker rather than as a trading house, so buyers deal with the unit that actually cuts, stitches and moulds the shoe.

Why buyers source from Agra

Agra is India’s largest footwear manufacturing cluster: leather supply, component makers, last and mould workshops, and a skilled workforce sit within the same city. For a bulk buyer that means shorter development cycles, easier sampling and lower landed cost than sourcing the same article through a distributor in another state. The trade-off is that the cluster contains everything from single-room workshops to full factories — so the question worth asking is not whether a supplier is in Agra, but what they control in-house.

What our unit controls in-house

What is manufactured here

Three divisions run from the same unit, which is why a mixed order does not need three vendors:

Checking a factory before you order

For a first bulk order from any Agra supplier, ask for the same four things we expect to provide: an approved sample against your spec sheet, the material specification in writing on the quotation, GST invoicing, and a quotation that separates product cost, packing and transport. Buyers placing institutional or tender orders should also ask for registration details and test reports — ours are listed below. You are welcome to visit the unit or send a representative.

Bulk, private-label, export & tender supply

Minimum order is 12 pairs per model with mixed size runs, and capacity extends to 50,000 pairs per month for distributor, institutional and seasonal volumes. We manufacture under your own brand, supply factory-direct wholesale rates across India, handle export documentation, and sell to government buyers through GeM and open tenders. Browse the full product catalogue, read about private-label and bulk manufacturing, or see how the factory has grown since 1995.

Agra Shoe Factory — FAQ

Where is the DBFootwear shoe factory in Agra?

Our manufacturing unit is in Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282005 — India's largest footwear production cluster. Buyers are welcome to visit the factory or send a representative before placing a bulk order; contact us to arrange a visit.

What is the production capacity of the factory?

Up to 50,000 pairs per month, manufactured fully in-house: upper cutting, skiving and stitching, lasting, PU and TPU sole moulding, finishing and QC. Keeping sole moulding in-house is what lets us hold lead time and consistency on large runs.

Which types of footwear are made at the Agra factory?

Three divisions from one unit: safety shoes (steel and composite toe, S1P and S3 grades), force & uniform footwear (army, navy, air force, police, paramilitary and NCC) and civil footwear (formal, casual, sports, sandals and school shoes). A mixed procurement order can be met by a single supplier.

Is the factory registered for government and defence supply?

Yes. DBFootwear is DGQA (Kanpur) and NSIC registered under Cert. No. 574, and a registered Government e-Marketplace seller (5116877). Defence articles are made to published specifications — IND/TC, JSS, IAFS and FDDI — and tested at a DGQA-approved lab in Agra, with advance samples provided for tender approval.

What is the minimum order from the factory?

12 pairs per model, with mixed size runs supported, so a retailer can trial a style. Large distributor, institutional and tender volumes are handled on the same line.

Can the factory manufacture under my own brand?

Yes. We manufacture private-label footwear to your specification — your choice of upper material, sole, colour and construction, with your branding on the upper, insole and packaging. Production follows an approved sample.

Does the factory handle export orders?

Yes. We supply export buyers with the required documentation, and quote with product cost, packing and transport separated so overseas buyers can compare landed cost accurately.
