This policy explains how DB Footwear (DBFootwear), based in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, handles information through dbfootwear.in, business communications and its authorized Pinterest account-management integration. For privacy questions or requests, email sales@dbfootwear.in.
Information we collect
- Enquiries and communications: your name, company, telephone or WhatsApp number, email address, city, buyer type, product interests, quantities and any requirements or messages you provide.
- Business records: quotation and order details, delivery and billing information, tax details and correspondence when needed to fulfil a business request or transaction.
- Website and technical information: pages visited, referral or campaign information, interactions such as enquiry submissions and contact-link clicks, and technical information processed by our hosting or analytics services, such as browser, device and network information. Enquiries may include the page from which you contacted us.
- Authorized account information: staff sign-in and session information used to restrict access to our internal business tools.
How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, provide catalogues and quotations, discuss samples and private-label requirements, process and fulfil orders, provide support, maintain business records, protect our systems and understand how visitors use the website. We may follow up about your enquiry or business relationship. You can ask us to stop promotional or sales follow-up messages.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses session technologies for features such as authorized staff sign-in. Where enabled, Google Analytics measures visits and interactions and may use cookies or similar identifiers. Analytics events can include enquiry categories, city and quantity information. Browser privacy settings, cookie controls and tracking-blocking tools can limit this processing, although some site functions may be affected. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out tool.
Pinterest integration
DBFootwear’s internal content-management integration is intended to manage its own Pinterest business presence. If an account holder authorizes it through Pinterest OAuth, it can access account information, boards, Pins and available performance metrics within the permissions granted. Authorized operations may include reading or creating boards, creating Pins with images and destination links, updating or deleting Pins, and reviewing analytics. Availability depends on Pinterest’s approved API access.
Authorization tokens are stored in a restricted local environment so the integration can make requests to Pinterest; the integration does not ask for your Pinterest password. When an authorized operator uses an AI assistant to manage the account, relevant instructions, content and API results may also be processed by that assistant’s provider. We use Pinterest data for these account-management purposes, not to sell account data or build unrelated profiles.
You can revoke the integration’s access in your Pinterest account settings. To request deletion of locally stored tokens or Pinterest data held by DBFootwear, email sales@dbfootwear.in with the subject “Pinterest data deletion” and identify the connected account. Do not include your password or access token. Removing local authorization does not by itself delete Pins already published on Pinterest; these can be managed in Pinterest or included in your request.
Who may receive information
Information may be accessed by authorized DBFootwear personnel and service providers needed to operate the website and business. Our technical services include Cloudflare for hosting and infrastructure, Supabase for database and authentication services, Resend for email delivery, and Google Analytics where configured. Information you send through WhatsApp or other external platforms is also handled by those platforms under their own policies. Order details may be shared with delivery or other fulfilment partners where needed.
We may disclose relevant information when required by applicable law or necessary to protect legal rights, investigate misuse or secure our services. Providers may process information outside your country. Their handling of information is also subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including responding to enquiries, servicing business relationships and meeting applicable accounting, tax, legal or dispute-resolution requirements. Retention varies by the type of record; we do not apply one fixed period to every category. Authorized account tokens are retained while needed for the connection and are removed from our active local storage when the connection is removed. Backups and legally required records may remain for their applicable retention period.
We use access restrictions, authentication and other technical measures to protect information. No online service or storage method can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and requests
You may contact us to request access to, correction or deletion of information we hold about you, withdraw permission where processing depends on it, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and relationship to the information before acting. We will respond in accordance with applicable requirements and explain if a request cannot be fully met, for example where transaction records must be retained.
You can choose not to provide optional information. Without sufficient contact or order details, we may be unable to respond to or fulfil your request. For privacy requests, write to sales@dbfootwear.in with the subject “Privacy request”.
Children and external links
Our enquiry and account-management services are intended for business buyers and adult representatives, including those purchasing school footwear. They are not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it. External websites linked from our site have their own privacy practices.
